Construction Project Manager, Honolulu Office

We are seeking a strong, qualified, multi-talented project manager to work in our Hawaiian office. This position works as part of a the Honolulu Trinity | ERD team, in cooperation with the Seattle office, to manage the flow of work within the firm and liaison with clients.
The ideal candidate for a project management role at Trinity | ERD has a background in engineering or construction management and several years experience in construction project management. Certification in project management or degreed in Construction Management will be required and direct experience with building envelope strongly preferred.

Duties may include:
• Visual inspection, moisture testing and physical investigation of the building envelope;
• Observation and documentation (comprehensive field notes and photographs) of observed conditions;
• Draft summary reports of observations and findings, including recommendations for appropriate corrective actions;
• Assist with development of a biddable scope of repair;
• Solicit and facilitate bidding by qualified contractors of the approved scope of repair;
• Evaluate the received bids for responsiveness and make recommendations to the client;
• Monitor the delivery and acceptance of construction contract documents;
• Coordinate and conduct pre-construction conferences;
• Carry out periodic inspections and documentation of the ongoing work;
• Issue construction field directives for out-of-scope work, unforeseen conditions or to clarify the project design and specifications;
• Participate in project meetings;
• Review and evaluate change order proposals;
• Review and evaluate contractor’s pay applications;
• Produce appropriate close-out documentation
